Volunteering Opportunities

Walsham Le Willows Sports Club is a voluntary-run organisation and relies on a small army of people to give up their time in order to keep everything running.

We are always on the look out for new people who are willing to help with both routine tasks and new projects. If you have a skillset that you think could benefit the club or are interested in getting involved, then any time you could spare would be appreciated but please see below for specific opportunities to get involved.

Social Commitee – Social Media & Website Content

When: Flexible

Description: Creating and scheduling event advertising content. creating and scheduling news articles about activity around the club

Duration: 2 + hours per week

Would suit: Digital Media, Journalism or Graphic Design Student
Computer Literate Retiree or Part time worker

Roxoff Gig

When: Saturday 1st August 2026

Description: Venue Set Up, Ticket Checks, Car Parking Attendant

Duration: 1- 4 Hours

Would suit: Anyone

Cricket Pitch Prep

When: Every Saturday Morning (Apr – Sep)

Description: Mowing, Rolling and Marking Cricket Pitches before matches

Duration: 2 Hours

Would suit: Duke Of Edinburgh Scheme Participants

Football Club – Social Media

When: Flexible

Description: Creating graphics and scheduling content for Football Club Social Media channels

Duration: 2 Hours per Week

Would suit: Digital Media or Graphic Design student

When: Saturday Afternoons and Ocassional Midweek Evenings

Description: Turnstile Operators, Programme Sellers, Raffle Ticket Sellers

Duration: 1 Hour

Would suit: Non league footballl enthusiast

General Maintenance Help

When: Every Tuesday Morning

Description: Grass Cutting, Tidying, Painting, Moving Furniture and Equipment.

Duration: 1- 4 Hours

Would suit: Recent retiree with practical skills
